Hotel Artemide is located on the famous Via Nazionale, in the
center of the history, but also social, economic and political life. A

Just walk along Via Nazionale to get to the Foro Traiano and then Fori Imperiali, which represent one of the best testimonies to the greatness and magnificence of the Roman Empire. Walk along Via dei Fori Imperiali to go straight to the Colosseum: a real sight even at night, thanks to its evocative lighting system. DIRECTIONS: By plane When you arrive at Rome's "Fiumicino" Airport there are different ways of getting to Hotel Artemide: - With the "Leonardo Express" train which takes around 35 minutes to get to Termini train station (ticket price: around 9 euro) which is located a few meters from Hotel Artemide. (see By train) - By taxi you arrive right at the Hotel (around 30 km from the airport). The cost is between 50 and 60 euro. - With a rental car with private driver You can also ask the hotel to come and get you at the airport and take you to the Hotel. The cost of this service is between 47 and 55 euro. By car From the north: from the freeway take Rome's ring road (G.R.A.) towards Naples and then the Nomentana exit towards the center. Drive along Via Nomentana for around 15 km until Piazza di Porta Pia. Go under Porta Pia and continue on Via XX Settembre until Largo di Santa Susanna. Here turn left on Viale Vittorio Emanuele Orlando until you come to Piazza della Repubblica. Turn right on Via Nazionale until number 22. From the south: from the freeway take Rome's ring road (G.R.A.) and then the Appia exit towards the center. Drive along Via Appia Nuova for around 15 km until Piazzale Appio, turn left into Piazza di Porta San Giovanni and then immediately right on Via Merulana. Continue until Piazza di Santa Maria Maggiore, drive along the right side of the church and drive along all of Via Torino until reaching Via Nazionale. Turn left and you are at the hotel. By train When you arrive at Rome's Termini station you can: - take a taxi, - take the A line of the metro and get off at the first stop: Repubblica (ticket price: 1 euro). Hotel Artemide is around 100 meters from the metro stop. - take a pleasant walk to reach the Hotel in around 15 minutes: leave the station from the main entrance on Piazza dei Cinquecento.
